Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
Grammy Loses Her Keys ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site, sign up for launch updates.
What we collect
- Launch-list sign-up: the email address you enter when you ask to be notified about the book, the date you signed up, and whether you've unsubscribed.
- QR code scans: if you reach this site by scanning the QR code in the book, we count the scan along with the type of device (for example, iPhone or Android). We use a one-way scrambled identifier to count unique visitors; we don't store your IP address with the count.
- Technical data: like most websites, our servers record basic technical information such as IP address and browser type in logs for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your email address only to send you a welcome message and to let you know when Grammy Loses Her Keys is available, along with launch updates about the book. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; you can also unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing [email protected]. We do not sell or share your email address, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Brevo to send our emails.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store the site data.
- Authorities, where required by law.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts that service when you visit.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function (for example, security and session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Launch-list email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them (we keep a minimal record of unsubscribed addresses so we don't email you again).
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to our legal record-keeping duties, by emailing [email protected]. California and other state residents may have additional rights, which we will honor.
Children
This site is intended for adults interested in a children's book. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
The site uses HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date above when we do.
